In The Beginning...

You see...it's like this. I don't think I'm alone in feeling a little disconnected from today's "Pop/Rock" music. I know I'm getting older, but I hope I'm getting smarter as well. If I'm right; then there are still plenty of you out there that just want a great song and a genuine, high-energy artist without all of the "Flavor of the Moment" trendiness and the "Pre-Fab" marketing hype. How Did I Get Here? A Short Bio

Chris is a vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a professional pedigree that includes a musical history on both coasts  in genres ranging from rock to pop to country. As the frontman for several Los Angeles based bands in the 90's, Chris built his reputation for a high-energy and interactive live shows while frequently appearing at legendary locales including the Roxy, the Whisky-A-Go-Go, the Troubador and the now defunct Gazzari's. Following a return to the East Coast, Chris was a founding member of the Atlanta based band O.B.X., who in 2004 released the full length CD, "Laughing at Gravity"., The disc went on to garner airplay on over 150 college radio stations on the strength of the single "Houston" (which also appeared on multiple industry conference sampler discs). Chris is currently readying for the release of his new solo effort "NeverWasn'tGonnaBe" and has just released the first single and video from the disc; "November".  He can be contacted through this website, You Tube, Facebook or through Scorpion & Frog Music at chrisweisermusic@aol.com
